I watched Beetlejuice 2 at the Bio Roy (Cinema Roy) on Sunday.
They showed it during their breakfast screening — which is absolutely magical. A morning movie, and it includes a sandwich, yogurt, coffee, and juice.

The movie was exactly as good as I had hoped. A cavalcade of practical effects. Puppets, miniatures, and so on.

It was also incredibly refreshing to see a movie that doesn’t care. It gets to be what it is. It doesn’t try to be anything other than a fun and entertaining moment. A little love, a little ‘horror,’ and a lot of Tim Burton.
